This course provides participants with the knowledge, tools, and resources needed to prepare for creating an agency workforce development plan. Through a series of three one-hour webinars, participants will be introduced to the process of writing a workforce development plan (WDP). Upon completion of the course, participants will have a plan for developing their next WDP. This content is aligned with PHAB Standard 8.2: Ensure a competent workforce through the assessment of staff competencies, the provision of individual training and professional development and the provision of a supportive work environment, and Reaccreditation Measure 8.2: The health department’s workforce has the multidisciplinary skills needed for the health department to achieve its mission, goals, and objectives. This second recorded webinar in the series will address evaluating your agency public health workforce and go over training and evaluation resources.

Kelly Bragg, MPH, CHES, Strategic Planning Manager, Local Government Entity in Ohio
Kelly Bragg is a public health professional who currently works as the Strategic Planning Manager with a local government entity in Columbus, Ohio. Prior to her current role, she was a Program Manager at the Ohio State Center for Public Health Practice, assisting local health agencies with organizational development and accreditation readiness projects. She has over 15 years of experience in public health across multiple states.
