This training is designed to introduce the Collective Impact framework through the lens of food systems work. Participants will reflect on didactic content through a case scenario in which stakeholders come together to discuss school lunch menu recommendations.
Audience
Public health professionals and students in all settings, including governmental public health, non-profits, health systems, etc. who are interested in collective impact as a model for partnership in public health practice.
Learning Objectives
- Recognize the multiple perspectives that arise in complex systems
- Recognize the need for collaborating across sectors
- Identify how an intentional framework, like collective impact, can facilitate cross-sector collaboration
- Identify challenges that could arise while working across sectors
